What's next for PHAB?

Growth and development to serve you better – that’s what!

PHAB is not static; it's dynamic, forward thinking and will continue to grow alongside the industry it serves. How? By developing NEW STANDARDS, introducing PHAB FOR CONSUMERS and by GOING INTERNATIONAL.  One thing's for sure, PHAB has your future professionalism at heart.

New Standards

We're currently developing Platinum and Diamond PHAB Standards, and we’re looking at ways to support professionalism in other allied areas, such as reception staff, holistic therapies for example.

PHAB for Consumers

Many customers report feeling that their hairdresser, colourist, barber, therapist, or nail technician isn't really listening to them. With customer service being the hot topic on the high street as well as on our TV screens and celebrities such as Mary Portas and Michel Roux drawing the attention of the public to poor service standards, PHAB is well placed and timed to make raising standards in this key area, a reality for our Industry.

Fed-up with talking to them about holidays or weekend plans, they'll be pleased to know that thanks to PHAB, their time with their PHAB professionals is about to get a whole lot better.

Phase 2 of PHAB sees customers being able to choose businesses which employ PHAB Standard stylists, nail technicians, colourists, beauty therapists and barbers.

The plan is to let the public know which salons have the PHAB standard, allowing them to single out those salons and get the best professionals to serve their hair, beauty and nail care needs.

By recognising the PHAB Standard, customers will be assured the business has loyal and happy customers who visit them regularly; employs experienced professionals keen to hold an intelligent conversation with them about their hair, beauty and nail-care needs, and the ability to help solve their hair and beauty dilemmas.

International Intent

PHAB is looking to extend its service to salon professionals across the globe.

So if you feel PHAB Standards would work well in your country, you need to assemble a minimum of 30 salons which would commit to the standard, then simply get in touch and let us know.

We’d be delighted to discuss this with you and work out a programme to launch PHAB in your part of the world!
