PHAB Standard Application Fees

The PHAB Standard itself is FREE. The charges below are purely to cover the admin costs involved in processing your application, irrespective of levels. The levels are purely determined by the qualifying criteria of performance results. The PHAB Standard cannot be bought, it must be earned!

Individual Applications

For individuals to apply for a PHAB Standard – Bronze, Silver or Gold – the cost is £99.00+VAT. Once approved, the PHAB Standard is valid for one year.
 If an individual fails to pass the PHAB Standard verification processes, their application fee will be refunded, minus an admin fee of £25.00 + VAT

Successful applicants receive:

  • A stunning metal PHAB Standard ID Card to keep in their wallets
  • A PHAB Standard Certificate to display with pride
  • On approval you will be given the opportunity to purchase a 'PHABulous' trophy for your mantle, should you wish to, at an additional cost of £225.00 +VAT
  • A fill-in-the-blanks press release to send out (with a photograph of yourself holding your PHAB Standard accolades) to all your local and trade press to let them know that you have proven that your service to your customers is better than your competitors!
  • Using your unique valid PHAB ID Number you will have access to our top industry trainer’s top-tips on successful column management

Salon And Spa Applications

For salons and spas to apply for a PHAB Standard – the cost is £399.00+VAT. Once approved, the PHAB Standard is valid for one year.

If a business fails to pass the PHAB Standard verification processes, their application fee will be refunded, minus an admin fee of £50.00 +VAT.

Successful businesses receive:

  • A PHAB Standard desktop trophy
  • PHAB Standard window sticker
  • A PHAB Certificate to display with pride
  • Permission to use PHAB logos in any recruitment advertising and for the business' website
  • A fill-in-the-blanks press release to send out (with a photograph of your team holding your PHAB Standard accolades) to all your local and trade press to let them know that you have proven that your service to your customers is better than your competitors!
  • Using your business' unique valid PHAB ID Number you will have access to our top industry trainer’s top-tips on successful business management
  • A complimentary listing on the PHAB Standard consumer website (once launched.) Please remain assured that any business qualifying before the consumer website goes live, will get their business advertised (free of further charges) until they get their year on the consumer site. (Qualification and re-qualification criteria will still apply) This is only the case until the consumer site goes live because we need enough businesses in the UK to be on the site before we go to the consumer. It is a way of thanking businesses for being grass-roots supporters of the PHAB Standard.

As a quality control measure to ensure PHAB Standards' criteria are being upheld, by making an application, an individual, salon or spa is agreeing to a possible visit by a 'mystery shopper' if we feel the need arises. Applicants are also agreeing to PHAB Standard Ltd. contacting their customers, managers, accountants, manufacturers /suppliers to verify information submitted in connection with their application only. We also reserve the right to revoke the PHAB Standard given if the individual, salon or spa fails the 'mystery shopper' exercise and/ or repeated customer complaints are received about poor customer service standards. All PHAB accolades remain the property of PHAB Standard Ltd. And must be returned to us if the standard is revoked.
